Hi, I have the old Huawei hg633 router, currently on Fibre 65.
it sometimes loses connection momentarily for a a few minutes then is fine. Should I have the newer hub as protocols would have changed over the years.

As the connection is stable at the moment, we’re not able to run live diagnostics on the line or router right now. Our tests can only pick up issues while the fault is actively happening, so intermittent drops like the ones you’re experiencing may not show any errors unless they occur during testing.
If the dropouts continue, please let us know as soon as you notice the connection going down. That way, we can run real‑time diagnostics and check whether the issue is with the line, the router, or something else. If we find a fault with the equipment, we’ll be able to arrange a replacement for you.

And i have put new filters on the line a couple months back as i know they fail sometimes.

like i said its a very random thing, happened last night for about five minutes. but his morning been fine as far i am aware.

Hi,
Yes i can use the internet , it only drops out a few minutes once in a while.
I just thought it may be the router as its quite old. I know the lines ok, As i recently had a engineer round sorting out the phone line. and that was all fixed.
