Intermittent Internet and DNS erros

For the last 3 or 4 days my internet has just been dropping out, still connected to the WIFI and its not saying no internet. The light on the router is also still showing a connection.  Everything i try to do after that is greeted with a DNS error until i reset the router.  This is happening multiple times a day, any help would be appreciated.

Just received the new router and there is a returns bag, is that for the old faulty one or this new one after I have tested it?

The Sagemcom WIFI hub is on its way, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.

 

Let us know how the connection compares with this router.

I have only tested with my old one and the newer one i have.  Not sure what either are as the only label on them says talktalk

Can I just confirm, have you ever tested with the Sagemcom Wifi Hub or just the Huawei router?

So is that it? I'm going to have to just keep using my 4 year old router? I was sent the new one when I moved house a year ago.

I was working 12h shifts all weekend so haven't had a chance to test the old router yet, just hooked it up now will let you know how it goes tomorrow

It's always worth testing a different router just to rule this out before arranging an engineer visit. How did you get on over the weekend?
