Over past ten days internet connection has randomly dropped and then come back after a few seconds. All devices show they are wifi connected to router. No changes have been made to router or other devices. Router always shows green lights and is never switched off. Living in TN39. Please advise what problem is and solution to fix.

Ok thank you for the update. Do the drops in connection appear to be weather related? If the connection does start to drop again then please let us know and we can look into this further for you.

No devices connected by wire. WiFi interference unlikely - there are no machines or other items close enough to router to generate possible interference. Drop outs have been random and short-lived and, with no corresponding physical changes within the building, cause must be outside ie. somewhere along the telephone cable. Having reported the issue in this forum, no dropouts have been seen over the weekend or today (18 Oct)!

I'm sorry to hear this. I've run a test on the line now which hasn't detected a fault and the connection looks very stable. Do you have any devices connected wired when this happens?

Do you have any devices connected 'wired', if so do they have the same problem.
If the issue only affects wireless devices (or you only have wireless devices) then the issue could be Wi-Fi interference.
You could try changing the channels that your router broadcasts the Wi-Fi signal on, you can use free smartphone Apps like this to see what channels are being used within range of your smartphone, you can then change your router to use channels that are less congested.
If trying this makes no difference then it may indicate an issue with the router, the staff here would be able to help with that. They won't be around now until Monday, but they should be able to respond to this post early next week to help.
