Message re upgrade.

I've just had an email from TalkTalk saying,

 

" This upgrade is planned on Wednesday 27 October 2021, but it looks like the new router we’ve sent you hasn’t been connected yet. "

 

I connected the new Router as soon as it arrived yesterday morning. Is it possible to do a test to ascertain whether or not it shows up as the correct router for VDSL.

@Jon Mac that is one of the latest HUBs, so will be fine on Fibre 35 or 65.

 

Suggest you leave it on 24/7 as it may need a firmware update which is normally "pushed" overnight.

It's a Sagemcom Fast 5364, delivered yesterday, I feel that you're right about the delay in the Service Centre catching up.

All Super Routers and HUBs supplied in the last 3 years (at least) are compatible with Fibre 35/65.

 

What model do you have in use now ?

 

Service Centre can take several days to recognise new devices for some strange reason.
