My router is not working although it was set up today

an engineer visited me to set up my router and its been more than 3 hours, the router is still blinking amber color

If this is a new service, have you received notification your service is actually live ?

 

What service do you have and is the only equipment a TT Router/HUB plugged into a filtered phone socket ?

 

If the service is over the phone line, is that working normally and does dialing 17070 get a readback of the correct number.

 

Have you tried rebooting the router ?

 

If today is "go live" day, it can be at any time up until midnight that the service can start.
