I upgraded to Fibre 65 and a few days before activation I enquired and was told you don't get a new router when you upgrade, but because it was 2015 since I last got a router from talk talk that they would send me one, that delivery period as now elapsed, I wonder if I will receive it or was it an error?

Yes via live chat was assured a new one would be sent, give me a link too to check it out. It could be a false promise like my TV box Youview which never arrived despite being faulty.

Hi @Mrgs1,
If the router you already have will support the package that you are upgrading to then you won't normally get sent a new router automatically, however if you were told they were going to send you a router then they should obviously honour that.
The staff here will be back tomorrow and should be able to check to see if a router has been ordered for you, and if not they may be able to help further.
