Router requires daily restart

*at beginning : no internet on all devices , had to restart

*then: no internet for pc, 5 mins later no internet for laptops

*after that: no internet for browser , meanwhile online game and people the people im talking to       online have no issue   ; then online game has no internet, meanwhile im still talking to people           online ; eventually no connection on everything

*now: online browser has no internet

 

-use opera gx mainly, but other browsers get disconnected too, tried different websites also so its not that the websites

-ran all talk talk tests multiple times, no a single issue detected

-have to RESTART ROUTER DAILY whenever router randomly through the day decides to cut browser off internet

-issue started ~ 3 months ago and has been persisting ever since

Hi @MEEMM,

 

What make / model of router do you have, if it is the Sagemcom Hub then these symptoms do sound like a known issue with that hub.

 

For one of the TalkTalk staff on this community to be able to look into this you will need to update your community profile to include your name, landline telephone number that your TalkTalk service is provided on & an alternative contact number. This will allow them to identify you, and they will then be able to help.

 

Don't post any personal details in this thread, just add them to your community profile.

 

The staff here won't be around now until Monday, but they should be able to respond to this post early next week to help.
