Slow Download Speed

Hello TT,

 

I've been experiencing slow download speed for the past week. I have a 32mb fiber package and my download speed is usually between 4.3 MB/s - 4.7 MB/s. However, currently my peak is only 600 KB/s. That is more than 4x slower than my original / package speed. I have read other posts on the forum in regards to the same issue at an earlier date and noticed that the technicians were saying there was a speed boost issue but it was resolved and the person needed to restart the router and wait 30 mins.

I have done that but the speed is not increasing at all.

My location is in Edinburgh - EH14 area. 

 

Could you please assist?

The result of the Sync rate:

 

18ms

Down - 4.0 Mbps

Up - 9.4Mbps

 

That is incredibly low and not correct.

I've also updated my landline phone number.
