When the land line is answered the internet disconnects evident by the internet light on the router turning red; also, the dial tone of the land line has changed with longer delays between rings.
The BT master socket is a type FTTC with an inbuilt pre filter, thus the advice on TT website to use a filter does not apply.

Did you remove the faceplate and connect the microfilter into the TEST socket ?

I tried the micro filter and turn it off and on again, but to no avail. I also took the matter up with TT and they have elevated it to the local exchange saying a fix would occur within 24 hours. It is now heading towards 36 hours and counting.

Have you tried running a Line test via the TT Service centre?
Could you try connecting the Hub & phone straight to test socket using a Micro filter? and do you still have the same issues?
