Turn off Scam Protection

How do I turn off Scam Protection? Some old threads I've read say it's "so important" that we have to ask TalkTalk to disable (in which case, why am I given instructions or the option to turn it off myself?). 

Could I please have this temporarily disable? I'm trying to test if this is what's preventing me from accessing my work systems.

I'm pleased to confirm that your now able to manage Homesafe settings yourself, from within my account, please follow the below steps to disable scam protection on your line: 


 


  1. Log into MyAccount

  2. Select My Services

  3. Select View HomeSafe settings

  4. Select OFF and confirm when you see the pop up window
