Unable to connect to work VPN

Hi,

Since joining TalkTalk, I have been unable to connect to my work VPN service. I have the DSL-3782 router that according to other posts in the forum has a firmware bug that prevents VPN from working. Any solution to this would be appreciated.

Hello Debbie,

I am also a very new TalkTalk customer having DSL 3782 router. I am also having issue with my Office VPN connection. Usually my internet works fine but whenever I connect my office laptop to TalkTalk internet and then connect it to office VPN, internet connection goes and none of the application and site opens up. I had a chance to speak to customer care and they told me that it could be issue with static and dynamic IP address but they don't provide any help with such advance settings and if I try anything by myself then it will devoid warranty. I didn't understand this well as if I connect my office laptop to mobile internet and then connect to office VPN, it works smoothly. So I very much believe that issue is withing TalkTalk service only but unable to figure it out or getting appropriate help regarding it. In case you can help I would be happy if you get in touch with me at pritessh.acharya@gmail.com. I am very new so I haven't update any community provide yet. I will do that but in case you don't find anything there do try contacting me via email. I need to get this resolved as soon as I can as its affecting my office work very mcuh.

Regards,
Pritessh

This is a known problem with the 3782. I have asked one of TalkTalk's OCEs to pick your thread up and replace it for you.

The forum is not real-time 24/7 support, so depending on how busy they are & how many are working at any one time, this can take 24 - 48 hrs (excluding weekends & limited cover on Bank Holidays). Alternatively, you can call the call centre or use online chat. The posts are responded to in time/date order, oldest first. So the fewer entries you make on your thread now, the sooner they will pick it up.

To save yourself time, please make sure that your community profile includes your first & last names, broadband phone number & if possible an alternative contact number. This can be done by clicking on your Avatar picture then click on "My Settings" followed by:-

Personal Profile > Personal Information

Otherwise, TalkTalk will not be able to tie up your forum username to your broadband account. Only you & TalkTalk have visibility of your details.
