Unable to establish VPN

Ive recently been working from home. my talktalk doesnt allow me to access my VPN so I normally hotspot from my phone. when i launch the VPN it says 'unable to establish connection. the vpn server may be unreachable (-14)'

 

I have tried reseting router and an ethernet cable.

 

I have live chatted with talktalk who said to come here. I have spoken to my IT dept who said talktalk just need to open port 10443...

 

can anyone help?

I am afraid you were misinformed, you do not need to open any ports for VPN clients to work. Which make/model of TalkTalk router are you using & what firmware revision is it running?
