I can't connect to my work VPN, it works for a couple of hours and stop, it did the same after I rebooted the router. I have tried connecting with an ethernetcable and it doesn't work either. I have tried another laptop and it does the same, so it's clearly a problem with the router/talktalk

Can I just check which VPN client you are using?
Are you connecting wired or wireless? If you are only using wireless, have you tried splitting the routers SSID's?
Split your router's SSID (wireless network name)
