Hi, Similar to problems others have been having, I've been working from home successfully for 18 months with no issues with my VPN, but a few weeks ago it just stopped working. I see from other threads that a new router solved the issue. Would it be possible, please, to have one sent out to me?

Hi Debbie, I've just reset the router, and still get the message "A connection to the remote computer could not be established, so the port used for this connection was closed". 

 

I'm afraid I have no idea what a VPN client is, or where to find out what it is.

I can see that your router updated to the latest firmware version.

 

Can just check which VPN client you are using?

 

Have you factory reset the router using the pin hole reset for ten seconds?
