Hi Dixi Chicken,
Even if there is no fault within your home the engineer will still need to run tests from your test socket.
Thanks

Hi
the day after your last post, as if by magic...my download speed went back up to the
usual 7.5 ish mbps...no need for potentially costly engineer..🤪
Speed continued there for aprox. 2 weeks ..no problem, then drastically dropped
down to 0.35 ish mbps
Did a reboot and speed shot back up to 7.5 ish again,
Stayed up for couple of days, then dropped right down...rebooted, then speed up again etc
But now I need to reboot every day to achieve my normal speed.
Does that mean the router has developed a fault or what seems to be the problem?.
thanks
Dixi
Hi Dixi,
Thanks for keeping us updated. I've re-run the line test which hasn't detected a fault. Would you like us to send a replacement router for testing purposes to rule this out? Are you currently using a HG633 router?
Thanks
Thanks Michelle
Yes please send a new router. Hopefully solves the problem..
I currently have the HG633, which had problems before, so would like to try the other one
if possible...
Thanks again,
Dixi
Hi Dixi
The replacement router is on its way, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.
Please let us know how the connection compares with this router.
Thanks
Debbie
Hi Debbie,
new router (D-Link 3782) arrived on Sat. already..😀
Speed seems now stable, without having to re-boot constantly....up to now😄
Will keep you informed if anything changes!
A BIG thanks to you Debbie‼️
