I have been having a frequent problem with whatsapp not working over wifi, only mobile data. I receive this push notification almost every time I go into the app and it's frustrating that I can't resolve it.
I do not have kids safe or home safe activated. I have tried turning off the router, my device and the app is up to date. This problem also seems to happen on occasion with snapchat and facebook messenger, but I rarely use those so obviously haven't noticed it as much.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please can you elaborate by answering these few questions:-
1. What make/model of router do you have (if this is a TalkTalk router, these details will be on a label on the rear or underside of it)?
2. If you have any wired connections, are they affected in the same way as wireless ones?
