Hi

I have talk talk broadband for aprox. 8 months now.

My speed is only 1,5mbps im using a 4g as well because download something at this speed is too slow.

I  have spend many hours on live chat in the past, they have done many line tests again and again, but with no results.

Had engineer visit as well, and got my router, cables, filter changed.

Just gave up after a while, most of the time using 4g, tried as weel the option upgrade to fibre, but looks like is not possible.

Will appreciate any help

Hi Debbie

I think the speed has improoved, with new router up to 4mb for a while, in that time it was not connected to test socket, what i remember.

I am not sure if the speed improved at the test socket, probably not i think the speed was always around 3mb.

Hi Tom

I've checked the connection stats and your line is showing in sync and connected for just over 1 day and 3 hours at 3mb.

Has the connection/speed improved since the router has been connected at the test socket?

Thanks

Hi Michelle

I think the new router is a bit faster.

I had a 1mbps faster speed as well for a while up to 4,1mbps. But i am not sure if this was because of new  the router or not.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for the update. The sync speed does look consistent and the errored seconds are low. How have you found the overall performance of the connection since this router has been connected?

Thanks

Hi Tom

Thanks for your reply.

Would it be possible to connect the router to the test socket again whilst we are investigating this fault?

Thanks

Hi Tom

Apologies for the delay.

Your line is showing in sync at 3mb.

Is the router still connected at the test socket?

Thanks

Hi

The replacement router arrived today, it is connected.

At the moment, speed seems to be the same as with my router.

Actually it is a bit slower for few days now, dropped from 3,1 to 2,6mbps.

This happend when i connected the my old router to the test socket.

Tom
