hi just had several of these automated messages from 01288830433 stating my talktalk internet would be disconnected this afternoon. I pressed 1 just now and it is a call centre in India. when I asked what it was concerning they hung up on me. great stuff especially as I have a different broadband provider and not talktalk
Fifth of five calls, 10:34, this time I took the call and someone was on line, ppi parasite. Number tps registeted and is my 91 yr old mother's who a few hours later was being admitted to hospital.

Recorded message threatening to cut off my internet today. I shoud press "1" to get through to their engineer. I hung up.
Yet another scam call with an automated message saying that the internet would be cut. Second call within 30 minutes from a similar number. Had about 10 of these calls recently and I am so fed up with it. Come on Talk Talk there must be something you can do. I block each number after it rings but it seems there are a never ending amount of similar numbers available to the scammers.
A foreign-sounding lady called, gave her name and said she was from TalkTalk and there was an issue with my intenet - it was sending error messages. I was immediately suspicious and said firstly "who are you?" to which she repeated she was from TalkTalk calling to inform me that there was an issue with my internet which was sending error messages. I said to her "That's very strange. I've been with TalkTalk for years, my internet is working fine and they've never called me before to tell me about a problem with the line.".She then went on to say that TalkTalk don't phone their customers to tell them there is an issue, to which I said, "so if TalkTalk don't phone their customers, why are you calling me??" At that point she cut the line. This happened a few minutes after an automated call on 01381627338 saying there was a problem with my internet and it woud be cut off today, would I press 1 to get through to a engineer.
just had a couple of phone call from this number ,always an american female voice saying that my internet will be cut off today. now this is obviously a scam of some sort, but someone may easily panick and reply to it.
