When I try to get onto the DSL router page at:
192.168.1.1 it is not accepting the normal 'admin', 'admin' username and password command. I am using Google Chrome in Windows 7.
I am not great at computer technology!!:o

Have you tried a Factory reset and reinstall - don't know if the browser is significant - I use IE9
There's a small hole at the back of the router, using a needle, pin or paperclip - press in for approx 15secs and you'll see the lights go out and then it will reset - maybe best to wire it up prior to doing this as you would for initial installation.

Thanks, will try reseting the router as you suggested later. (I did try IE9 as well but authentication failed here too.):s

If your router has a soft reset button, then switch off the power - switch the power back on while pressing the reset button and hold in for about 20secs, wait for the router to reboot then try again.

The Factory reset should have worked but this additional reset may clear things.

If this doesn't work or your router doesn't have a soft reset button, state what type of router you are using in your next post and more experienced members may be able to help.

I think there are cmds or software you can download to gain access with but I'm not familiar with them - and there's always TT support.
