I need to reset the password on an old PIPEX email account

FAO TalkTalk Community support team:

I have an old dial.pipex email address that has been hacked/spoofed (years ago) and has been used to send spam email by someone (or many people) for many years now. I am also getting the blackmail emails saying that I watch porn and that they have my old password (and in some emails they do have it - it is no longer used) and they want payment in bitcoin. As a security precaution I want to change my email password. I have followed the instructions on this previous post here (https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Email-Webmail/need-to-reset-my-pipex-email-password/td-p/2259200) and have entered the required data in the Private Notes section of my Personal Profile.

Stephen called but the password did not work and he never called back. Now I am locked out of my account.

 

Please use my mobile number to contact me as the home phone does not ring. It is in the private notes of my Personal Information section.
