Imap settings for tinyonline and android Outlook

I've tried various options including

  1. Username: Your TalkTalk email address ending talktalk.net
  2. IMAP server: mail.talktalk.net
  3. Port: 993
  4. Tap Next.
  5. Check your outgoing server settings match those shown

    SMTP server: smtp.talktalk.net

    Port: 587

    SSL: (Accept all certificates)

  6. Tap Next.

You're looking for the settings for tinyonline.co.uk using Outlook for Android, yes?

 

Set up IMAP account in Outlook for Android

  1. In Outlook for Android, go to Settings > Add Account > Add Email Account.

  2. Enter email address. Tap Continue. When asked to select an email provider, choose IMAP.

  3. Toggle Advanced settings on and enter your password and server settings.

 

Account Type  IMAP
Email Address username@tinyonline.co.uk
Password Your tinyonline password
Incoming mail server imap.tiscali.co.uk
Incoming Port 993
Incoming Security SSL is enabled by default
Outgoing SMTP server smtp.tiscali.co.uk
Outgoing Port 587
Outgoing Security SSL is enabled by default
SMTP Username username@tinyonline.co.uk
SMTP Password Your tinyonline password

 

The Email address / SMTP Username is your full tinyonline email address.

The password has been checked to be correct on web mail as is the email.

Hi Mark

 

It's not so unusual for Outlook to have an incorrect password stored. The way of dealing with this is to delete the email account from Outlook and set it up once more.

 

If you're still not there, screenshot the server settings, image edit to obscure the first part of the email address, post here using the Insert Photos camera icon above this Reply area. I'll take a look to see if there's something amiss.
