The blue screen might appear if the TalkTalk Mail service cannot sign you in because the sign in authentication has timed out. Your computer might just be busy. Waiting a bit and refreshing the browser page is usually all that's needed.
When you go to the TalkTalk Mail sign in at https://apps.talktalk.co.uk/appsuite/ do you have to complete the sign in boxes with your email address and password or do you get signed in automatically.
If there's a persistent blue screen then clear the browser cache and cookies so that new cookies can be set and you'll probably find that you'll get straight to your mailbox.
