Lost Email Folders

Hi 1126phil

We always recommend mail users to backup important mail messages as there is no offer of a backup service as part of the use of a TalkTalk managed email address or email account.

@1126phil wrote:...please advise how I go about claiming compensation from TalkTalk for the loss of these folders which contained some very important material related to my business....

You can always try making a complaint.  I assume you have written permission from TalkTalk to use their services for business use?  Terms and Conditions do normally exclude business use (Section 6) and business losses (Section 13).

But if you're a TalkTalk business customer then contact TalkTalk Business Support in the first instance.

@ady

(I have just found the notification for this in my trash folder despite the fact I set up a rule on my webmail to try to get notification from the forums into my Inbox - any suggestions ?)

Hi Rochelle, do you also have rules setup on a mail client?

@OCE_Ady   Yes it is set up in Outlook as well.

I just found the notification of your post  in my webmail Trash folder. I jwent into the Rules set up again to check it and even added a  red flag but not even that has appeared in the webmail Trash.

Do we therefore infer that the Filter actually doesn't work? (I can see that email me when someone replies is ticked as well)

All the best

Those filters should work.
