Outlook not Syncing

Hi there,

 

I am having trouble with sending two emails. Since lunchtime, I have been getting error code -1001. The prompt tells me "An operation on the server timed out. The server may be down, overloaded, or there may be too much net traffic." Last time Outlook synced was 12:28. What can I do (beyond restarting Outlook and the computer) as I need to send these emails urgently?

Is your TalkTalk mailbox accessible on webmail?  If it's been upgraded to the new TalkTalk Mail platform the sign in is: https://apps.talktalk.co.uk/appsuite

 

There is maintenance scheduled for tonight but access should still be available.
