My email testing results for Wednesday are:-
Gmail - delivered promptly to Inbox (hopefully this is now fixed for me at least)
Hotmail - delivered as spam
Yahoo - delivered promptly to Inbox, for the first time since this problem arose (a fluke ???).
4 weeks after the 'fix' I have yet to see any change whatsoever in the way Hotmail treats messages from Pipex..
@OCE_Ady I believe we are long overdue for an update on this longstanding problem.
I'm starting to feel like this thread is a one-way street. We, TalkTalk's paying customers, are doing all the testing and providing feedback but we are no longer getting any updates on what actions TalkTalk are taking to resolve this longstanding problem.
@OCE_Ady I believe its something like 10 days since you gave us any meaningful comment on what TT are still doing to resolve this so we are long overdue for an update on this longstanding problem.
If, as @Muddymedic suggested, you are not allowed to do so perhaps you could tell us that instead ?
Gmail mainly go ok
Hotmail go to junk
Aol did go for a while but now have bounced back retry exceeded!
Bt don't arrive or bounce back!
No real improvement in 3 months
My complaint has been excalated but they don't know when it will be resolved!
No idea if its worth posting in this thread as the OCE's seem to be ignoring it.
This morning got bounce back messages in respect of emails sent to Yahoo & AOL (non delivery after 13.9hrs) Hotmail message still go to Spam as well.
This means after 2.5 months of this problem I am back to square one.
I dont have the words to use in an open forum to describe how utterly ridiculous this all is.
Any comment @OCE_Ady ?
So no response yet again. This is becoming all too predictable. In another thread in this section one member said he got some helpful response after emailing charles dunstone (Executive Chaiman @ TT). Perhaps thats the route we should take too.
Hi @stevesurrey Having had no response from TT (not even an acknowledgement of receipt) from emails dated 4th and 10th July, I raised a formal complaint to TTR on 23rd July. Having had (you guessed it) no response/acknowledgement to that complaint, I phoned yesterday and spoke to a Complaints Manager. She promised that this would be passed to a 'specialist team' (seems familiar @klangham ?), who would phone me today. As yet, not a dickie-bird!
So, 'headway'....none! Banging of head against my desk in frustration....lots! I will, of course, let you know if any of this changes (or even if someone at TT is able to answer any communications from their customers), but please don't hold your breath while waiting, or you'll do yourself a mischief.
Just wondering, any updates on this long standing issue please? Looking at the other threads, it seems that the fault has simply been left, and we are all now left in limbo without a usable e-mail service, indefinitely.
I had a message from TalkTalk yesterday telling me that my contract is almost up and offering me a renewal. I shall talk to an advisor I think and explain the situation. It needs to be heavily discounted if I stay as the service I am receiving is below par.
Webmail is also being problematic again, which is commonplace I know.
The migration thing has been promised years ago and I think unlikely to ever happen. Why not just give us all a TalkTalk address and let the old non working Pipex ones fade away.
Although I have transferred all important emails to gmail, I have still got my old dsl.pipex.com account and read all of the messages in this forum. If Ady and the other OCE's are no longer responding, and even the complaints procedure gets nowhere, surely it is time for TalkTalk to admit that Pipex is no longer supported and that the theoretical transfer to the new platform, first promised many months ago, is also postponed indefinitely.
