Pipex Migration - Creating 100's of Empty 'My Folder' folders and number still seems to be growing

Hi As a result of the migration TalkTalk email seems to be creating 100's of empty My folders in my account e.g. INBOX 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1

 

The number seems to be growing (I gave up counting at 140).  Is there any fix for this or do I need to go in and manually delete these? 

 

These are being replicated across all my devices.

To link this topic to your TalkTalk Mail service, in preparation for direct help from TalkTalk support, please check your Community Profile includes in Personal Information (Click here):


Your name, current TalkTalk landline 'phone and alternate number (mobile preferred). Add your full address with postcode (location). Then scroll down to Private notes to add the email address, notes and references etc and then save changes.

Check your password recovery Reset details are present and available (via the main settings icon on the header)

 

Menu options - Update your reset details 05Aug2020

 

And then sign out and change your email password using the Forgotten password button to lock out your other devices for the moment.

 

Sign back in to TalkTalk Mail (webmail) using the new password and see if the issue is still happening.

Hi, Thanks for this. Unfortunately I'm not the primary account owner, therefore the system doesn't seem to want to allow me to change my password.  It says it's reset, but when I try to logon says that the password isn't correct - The old password however still works.

Noted that you're not the primary account owner. Does that mean that this email address you're using is an alias email address for the primary mailbox?

Hi ER_C012_006244_1, is this happening in webmail or a mail client? Are you the account holder of the TalkTalk Broadband account or the TalkTalk Mail Plus account?
