Setting up an E-Mail account

Hi, I'm trying to set up a POP3 e-mail account on an I-Pad. I have been 50% successful, I can receive E-Mails but I'm unable to send. I believe I have the wrong details recorded. I would appreciate if someone from the community can provide the necessary info. I think the username that I have input is incorrect. I have just put in my name. Also, what should the outgoing server settings be, Port number and anything else I need, are there any boxes which need ticked.

Username and password are the email address and email password exactly as you entered for the incoming settings.

What email domain are you setting up? talktalk.net / tiscali.co.uk or an other?

Outgoing port is usually 587

Security is either STARTTLS or SSL or SSL/TLS

Outgoing authentication is required

Hi, thanks for your reply, and sorry for the delay in responding. The port details on the setup for the outgoing server were wrong, I changed to 587. I'm now able to send e-mails.
