I have a very old tiscali e-mail address. Following an e-mail from Talk Talk I am trying to sign up for Talk Talk Mail Plus. I enter my e-mail address and password both which seem to be accepted as they have a nice green tick alongside them when I hit continue. Some seconds later I ust get the error message 'System error. Please try again.'. I do not have an account set up with Talk Talk and I thought by signing up for Talk Talk Mail Plus I would set up an account as part of that progress.
The green ticks against the email address box and password box just mean the input characters have been accepted as valid and the email address is in a valid format and is a talktalk managed domain.
The next step is that the email address is searched for on the talktalk email address database.
The error message is a current issue because the process is not able to access the talktalk email address database.

Please do a quick check that your Community Profile includes in Personal Information (Click here) your name, current landline 'phone number and an alternate number (mobile recommended) and address with postcode (location). Then scroll down to Private notes to add the tiscali email address with any relevant other notes and finally save changes.
