TalkTalk not receiving external email

I see that TalkTalk's email service is up to its usual standard - terrible.


Since the at least early Sunday, emails from external systems have been taking anything from a couple to 24+ hours to arrive.


Contrary to what some have posted, this problem has been going on for days now. It was NOT fixed after the weekend. So usual TalkTalk response of "fiddling about" until the problem "appears" to go away without actually fixing anything.


STILL get the old stalwart of an issue of it rejecting email passwords every few weeks which has been going for YEARS....


When are both of these issues going to be fixed - properly?

We're pleased to confirm that the earlier issues accessing your emails have now been resolved however you may observe a delay in receiving emails whilst the backlog of emails within the system is processed over the coming hours. Once again we'd like to apologise for the inconvenience caused.
