Unable to send emails form my UKHOST4U mail servers

Been trying for days to get my emails to send and be received using my UKHOST4U account, I've downloaded my settings to my MacBook, Phone and iPad but none of them work. They do when I turn WIFI off..... Any help would be appreciated .

Hi @agentorange 

 

Advice from UKHOST4U on setting up your personal domain email clients. Use the secure mail servers.

 

Note that the incoming and outgoing server names are not the talktalk mail servers.

 

Screenshot the incoming and outgoing server settings, image edit the local part of the email address and upload here using the Insert photos icon (camera or picture) above this reply area.

just re-inputed my settings as per advice and still unable to connect via wifi but can without, using my phone data. 

 

So somethings stopping it on the WIFI....

 

Connections to the server “mail.drewpatmore.com” on the default ports timed out.

Are you running some Internet Security software that's scanning the email ports?  Kaspersky and Avast are a couple of likely contenders that are known to hold up connections to secure email ports 993, or 995 and 587.

Ha ha.... I just had to send my IP Address to UKHOST4U and it now works,
