Gondola suggested I start a topic here and he'd show me how to set up a filter rule for Talktalk mailboxes. This is to stop the ?????.operah.com emails.

eg the latest one had From: field thus:

From:Iceland Bonus Card<Iceland.Bonus@info.operah.com>

Hi @wow123

You can use Filter Rules to move all mail from a specific domain straight to the Trash folder.

Filter Rules in the new TalkTalk Mail:

Filter Rules - Add new rule

NB Filter Rules do not appear in the mobile version of TalkTalk Mail. If you're using a mobile device then use the browser menu (triple dot icon top right) to select the Desktop version

  • Select the Menu option      top right
    (triple line hamburger icon)
  • Select Settings from the list
  • Select the arrow by Mail (or Email) in the left side panel
  • Select Filter Rules
  • Select Add new rule
  • Copy the screenshot below

Filter rule operah.com

The rule will work so long as the From address within the angle brackets remains as operah.com

Let us know if that works for you.

Hi wow123, and Gondola as always has come up with the goods. Follow Gondola's advice and you won't go far wrong.

I should add I can vouch for Gondola's betting tips or stocks and shares advice. 🙂
