I am locked out of tiscali emails yet again. Keeps asking for password.
I have new password from sometime ago. Tiscali will not recognise it.
Can you raise a ticket for another password please.

Have you not set up Password Reset details for the email address so that an alternate email and or mobile number can receive the reset?
Please do try the Reset your Password option. If there's an alternate shown that you recognise from the hints, and have access to, then please reset the password.
If the self-help password change / recovery options aren't there or aren't current then I'll alert the TalkTalk Community team for you.
In the meantime, please check and update your Community Profile Personal Information (Click here) to include your name, current contact 'phone numbers and address with postcode (location) then scroll down and add the Tiscali email address to Private notes and Save changes.

Working now in thunderbird.
Have already put info in personal details a few years ago.
Everytime I try to get into the community it flags me as a new user.

Got that - done that.
Thunderbird showed old password, that did not work this morning.
However I closed and reopened Thunderbird and it asked for the password.
I gave my new password (as of this day) and saved it.
So all good again.

Thunderbird is certainly one of my favourite email clients. With a really strong, new and never used before, password and with TalkTalk Mail's Reset details set up with an alternative email address and mobile number for password recovery you're fully equipped for self-help password changes and password recovery.
