I have heard second hand the tiscali email addresses are not going to recognised. I have set up a TalkTalk email but cannot see how to change that to link to my accounts and change my sign in details.

There's no plan to discontinue support for active tiscali or other email domains managed by TalkTalk Consumer on the TalkTalk Mail platform. You can't make a new tiscali mailbox just use your existing one.
If you're a TalkTalk Consumer home broadband customer then you can add your tiscali email address to the TalkTalk customer MyAccount.
Once the tiscali email address is added (you just need the tiscali email address and email password) you can select Login details in MyAccount to change the MyAccount login to be set as the tiscali email address. If that's what's wanted.
