Can’t log in to community

Hi I wonder if anyone can help I can’t log into community it’s stating to many attempts to log in tried changing password and never received the email to reset password so I used the one I did get sent and said the token was expired but when changed my password it tells me it was successful then try and login and says authentication tried to many times

Please log in to My Account if you need to view or pay your bill, manage boosts and track your usage. From My Account you can also check your connection and test your line for any issues in the Service Centre.

Clearly you can sign in to Community as you can only post and reply to topics and see the posts published when signed in as a verified member.


If you're resetting an email password then the Reset your password now button in the help article  Changing your email password will take you to password reset and recovery.  If the email address is still active on the TalkTalk Mail platform and you have set up password recovery options, that you recognise from the hints, then you can send your alternate email address a link or your mobile a 6-digit code to authorise a password reset.  For security, the reset must be carried out within 30 minutes or the link or code will expire.


There are also security precautions including a limit to the number of times you can try to change the password, the inability to reuse any password used for the previous 5 password changes and that the password must comply with and preferably exceed minimum strength requirements. If you are locked out from trying to change a password then the fix is to cease trying for at least an hour.
