Cannot send to multiple recipients from contacts

I used to be able to send emails to groups of up to 30 in my Contacts.  This morning the emails were returned with error message 'Too many Recipients (TT501)'

Why has this changed?

Hi @Noggins 

 

The TT501 error message indicates that you've exceeded the hourly residential sending limit. A mailing to 30 addresses would normally be ok. The hourly limiter will be fully reset in an hour. So the fix is to wait up to an hour and the send can be retried.

 

If you still have trouble sending there could be a lower rate limit set for specific reasons so come back and let us know what happens in an hour and if the error message is different.
