I am trying to reset the password for one of the 5 email addresses I have on my account. I have tried through My Account, Manage Talk Talk Email, but I don't know the current password. Have tried the Forgotten Password link on the webmail logon page, but it sends an email to an address which just shows as the end of the email address and I'm not sure what it is as all my addresses end the same (my surname).
Is there any other options or a way I can add my mobile number to the account recovery?

Hi CBilly, I've sent you a personal message to get more information. The personal message include a secure verification link please answer all the questions.

The email address that you're trying to reset the password for i.e. your son's email address. This is just so TalkTalk can carry out preliminary checks and get the data associated with the email address before asking you for your details to verify a data match.

Yes, if there's just a single email address listed in password recovery then that is the mailbox you cannot access. It's listed for routine password changes for when you can access the mailbox and just want to make a routine password change.
If you access only via Outlook then that doesn't offer an easy view of an unencrypted password. So, you'll need TalkTalk help to recover access.
I'll let TalkTalk know that the password reset options aren't available. A TT Staff member will verify you as the registered email user and set up Reset details so you can get the password changed.
To proceed, please update your Community Profile Personal Information (Click here) to include your name, current landline and mobile contact 'phone numbers and address with postcode (location) then scroll down to Private notes and add the email address and Save changes.
In due course a TalkTalk Community Team member will reply here and then Community Personal Message you to verify you as the mail user; so be prepared to provide on request to TT Staff only:
When you're verified the Reset details will be set up within 48 hours allowing you to set your own password via the Forgotten your Password journey. Make sure the password is ultra-strong and unique to the mailbox.

Hi @Gondola ,
When we set the account up several years ago, I don't remember there being recovery options, but it must have an email address against it as it says sending email to ********firstname.lastname@example.org, but all 5 of my addresses end the same. I have checked the others, but no email, so I am guessing it's using the address I can't access.
Have the account setup in Outlook. Was working OK until April but then started asking for a password every time i did a send and receive. I haven't changed the password.
It's not my main email address, it's one that I set up for my son.

You can set up a mobile number for password recovery but only when you can sign in to your mailbox. The setup needs to be done in advance for obvious reasons.
Is there just the one option of a single email address for password recovery? The mailbox address that you're trying to recover access to, perhaps?
How do you normally access your mailbox? An internet browser signed into TalkTalk Mail (webmail)? Or an email client like Thunderbird or Apple Mail?
