For a number of years I have used Gmail as a proxy to use my tiscali email via my mobile which is on 3. However recently I have started getting messages refused with the following message, "Message rejected per DMARC policy for tiscali.co.uk".
Is there a better way to get my tiscali email to work from my phone? or does this effectivly mean that my tiscali email is now almost redundant, as I almost exclusivly use and send emails while away from home.
Any advise would be greatfully received.

The solution is to use the TalkTalk recommended server settings appropriate for all TalkTalk Mail domains including tiscali.co.uk
On updating the email software incoming, outgoing and some advanced server settings, you'll possibly be asked to accept a new certificate (yes, accept) and to enter the email password so have the current password ready.
Supported* email client and app settings are:
|Account Type||IMAP (recommended) or POP3
|Username||Full tiscali email address|
|Password||Tiscali email password|
|Incoming mail server||mail.talktalk.net|
|Incoming Port (IMAP / POP3)||993 / 995|
|Incoming Connection Security||SSL/TLS
|Outgoing mail server||smtp.talktalk.net|
|Outgoing Connection Security||STARTTLS
|Outgoing Authentication Required||Yes|
|Authentication Method||Normal Password|
It's also important to make sure the email address is added to a TalkTalk Consumer customer MyAccount to avoid restriction to webmail only access and possible deletion.
TalkTalk Mail Plus is the mail only subscription service for TalkTalk Mail users in the UK that are not home broadband customers.
* Email clients, apps and devices that do not support secure mail using a minimum of TLS1.2 connection security are not supported.
