Email server issue

Hi,

 

I've got 4 email addresses and 3 work fine on my phone but setting up the mail one doesn't verify the server details?

 

I'm using my email address and webmail password (which is fine logging into webmail) and the correct ports setup 993 (mail) and 587 (smtp)

 

Tried speaking to someone at Talktalk  but that was useless.

Any ideas?

Hi Mikev 

 

Is the password strong? Is the email address listed in your TalkTalk Consumer customer MyAccount?

 

Prepare for TalkTalk Support by including in your Community Profile:

  • Your name, current TalkTalk home 'phone number. An alternative (mobile preferred) contact number. Full address with postcode (Location)
  • Scroll down to Private notes to add the email address you're having problems with, notes and reference etc
  • After checking and updating, Save changes
