Similar to many other tiscali email users have reported I  am having problems sending and receiving emails. It states emails have been sent but they are still in the Draft Folder, try sending them again from there put they stay there. I know people have sent me emails but I don,t receive them.

 

Could you please try the repair operation on it.

 

I have put the tiscali email address in my 'Personal Information - Private notes' section.

I've been involved in the project for a good while now. I've pointed out our previous errors and everyone involved is very eager to deliver a good product well. The platform itself has been used all across Europe by millions of users for quite a while now.

I hope that the new platform will be thoroughly tested before it is released, as you are well aware, being 'piggy in the middle' as the saying goes, you are the poor soul that the Tiscali and other legacy email users are going to come to.

 

Just had a quick count of the ones in my active email filters and the ones in the blocked senders and it is over 50 in total

That's great. Thanks for posting back to let us know it's working. You'll be able to block everything you want to more effectively once we're on the new platform. The problem we have at present is once you get over 50 it can start to get a little confuddled and cause problems.

At the moment all seems to be working ok, can send and receive emails without a problem.

I think what I will do when I move emails to the spam folder using the move option is to also check what if anything has changed in that blocked emails folder.

The network team will have been working on your account using a temporary password. They discovered that your blocked senders list was corrupt and had to delete the whole thing. They assure me it's all working well now.

I've raised the new ticket this morning after some issues with the system yesterday. I suspect it'll be another 72 hours before you get an update. Let me know how you get on.

I have and it's now showing the sent mail in sent items box, but the mail isn't coming through. I've logged a new ticket for mail not being received when you send it even though it's showing as sent.

This morning it let me delete my email address and a couple of others that should have not been there. I did not receive any Text messages as you said I should have.

Somewhere along the line there must be a problem when spam emails are moved using the move option to the spam folder not just market as spam and deleted.

 

But.

 

I have tried sending test email to myself again but again the do not come through despite waiting a couple of hours. So is it worth you trying the repair option again.

I've logged the fault ticket for you. I'm afraid it'll be 2 or 3 days as it has to go to the Email Admins. You should get updates by text.

You'd be astounded at how many customers have their own email address blocked. We are. We've never been able to fathom how so many manage to block their own address, but it is the reason we're so keen to check and ask customers to check. Let me see if I can get this error cleared.

Thats a strange one its not one I have created the only thing i can think of, I have had a spam email where the sender appears to be myself and I have moved it to the spam folder. I have tried several times to delete or edit it but when I have clicked the ok button it throws up a HTTP Status 500 - error

Hi l8this, you've got your email address in your blocked senders list. You need to remove that and once you have your mails will go out and your test mail will go and then be received. I've tried to do it for you, but it keeps crashing for me. Let me know if you manage it, if not I'll have to escalate it to get the fault cleared.
