I saw the thread yesterday but can't reply to it.
My email won't send from client on laptop (pop) or iphone (imap) using @Tiscali.co.uk. Same email will send from wife's ipad (imap).
Seems wife's @taltalk.net (pop) works from laptop.
Is this related to the thread from saturday or is it something else? Has worked reasonably well for last n years!
Why don't TT send messages or leave the f....things alone (account log in??)?
If I change the ports as in the info, will things work again?
Can't understand why the iphone won't send though.

I have changed settings as in your link. Have tried sending from TT web mail to my tiscali and wife's talktalk, but not received. Still can't send mine to wife's.
The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's email address. The sender's email address was @email@example.com'.

Server Error: 530
Server Response: 530 5.1.0 l6eslFVgNRLyd Authentication Required (TT401)
Can't now send from wife's TT net

I did receive 33 "repeat" emails when I changed my settings.
Sorry no i will not use my Gmail as it is awful.
Other suggestions welcome

The 'fault' issue I've reported and given a fix for only impacts sending legacy tiscali family mail messages to other TalkTalk Mail addresses.
So, if you can send mail out to non-TalkTalk addresses just follow the guide I've given in the post at the top of this forum.
Let us know if you need help.
