This has been going on for over a year.
I can read my onetel emails on the iOS Mail app but cannot send.
Also, although I have IMAP onetel email on Outlook on a PC, I am unable to set this up at all on the iOS Outlook app.
It is an iPhone 12, with the latest iOS 14.6 but this has all been happening also on an iPhone XR with various iOS versions.

The settings you need are in the post Upgrade your legacy mail settings
The changes to make are to the server host names and to make sure your onetel username is the full onetel email address when you enter the outgoing server host name (smtp.talktalk.net) your username (your full onetel email address) and password.
Make sure SSL is on (green switch) the outgoing port is 587 and Authentication is set to Password.
If you need further help then take screenshots of the settings, redact the first part of your onetel email address and upload here for further guidance.
