Well this situation has really messed things up for me. I thought it was a problem my end so spent all day yesterday changing settings and passwords. I now have the problem of not knowing which password I used to access my lineone emails in outlook and my iPhone. Any help would be appreciated.

No doubt the polymath @Gondola will have the definitive answer.
Talktalk will never accept that it was a change they made at their side which started this fiasco. Also took me over day to solve this issue.

Just use the Forgotten password button in the help article Changing your email password and if the email address is still active and you have set up password recovery you can send your alternate email address a link or your mobile a 6-digit code to authorise a password reset.
