The oldest email is 31 October which is the day you looked and found all bar 2 mail messages were missing. And the next day on 1 November you self sent a mail message that you confirmed did appear in the Inbox.
This would suggest that all mail had been downloaded and deleted from the Inbox on or just before 31 October.
Are those 2 mail messages plus your self sent test still there in the Inbox?
Have you changed the mailbox password to lock out any unauthorised connection to your mailbox?

Hi arnonick, it looks like Gondola has this in hand for you. If you need my help Gondola will let me know.

Only just over a month would normally suggest a mail collection service or app was connected to your mailbox sometime in the recent weeks. A POP3 connection could download all mail just from the Inbox and then delete all but the most recent. You confirmed that you didn't set up a mail collection or email app so I'd suspect someone else did. To lock out any unauthorised connection you should change and upgrade the email password. (See below)
Have you changed the password in the last month?
If you'd set up an email app as a POP3 account or a mail collection service then you'd find the mail messages in the app or service Inbox.
There's no backup by TalkTalk which is why there's a constant reminder at the head of this forum for mail users to make their own regular backups.

Three years ago the current TalkTalk Mail platform was introduced to allow all TalkTalk Mail domains to be consolidated on a single platform and allow all domains including tiscali to use the talktalk.net mail servers.
What's the oldest mail message in the Inbox?

Ok so I have removed the filter rules (blocked sender) When you say "inherited from the former webmail platform" what do you mean? I have had this email address for many years, it's still @Tiscali.co.uk not talktalk.net, so I havent changed platforms

If you have a Blocked Senders Filter rule in the online mailbox then that would have been inherited from the former webmail platform. Probably well out of date and may not have functioned correctly anyway. So best to delete that filter rule as outlined earlier.

Thank you for your response, I havent set up any collection device, and my emails are not in spam, trash or even draft, they have literally just dissapeared 😥, There are no rules in place, only blocked senders,I sent an email to the tiscali address and it came through ok, I am still getting emails, so all that is working fine, it is just the old emails that have gone

Since you last checked your Inbox in the online mailbox have you set up a mail collection service or an email app that could be downloading and then deleting mail messages.
TalkTalk don't delete mail from the Inbox.
Prepare for TalkTalk Mail Support by including in your Community Profile, Personal Information (here):
Select here: Sign in to TalkTalk Mail
Enter your email address and password, select Sign in.
Check the Inbox first and then check Spam and Trash folders for mail messages that may have been diverted from the Inbox. Bear in mind the spam and trash folders normally contain mail not older than 30 days.
Compose and self-send the same mailbox a mail message. Check that the message sends without error, is copied into the Sent objects folder and arrives and stays in the Inbox.
Mail not reaching the Inbox could mean there's a Filter rule, including an Auto forward which is a special filter rule, that's diverting, discarding or blocking mail.
Let us know of any error message, or if mail did not arrive in the Inbox or disappeared from the Inbox. Collecting mail messages with a POP3 mail account or mail collection service, like Gmail, may be deleting messages from the online Inbox.
If using email software or mobile email apps, check for software updates and if the email account is set for IMAP or POP3.
Select here: TalkTalk Mail Support Hub
Check that your Email Settings, particularly server host names and port numbers match those for TalkTalk managed email addresses.
Let us know what you find.
