Tiscali email unavailable

Tried to access my tiscali email account to find that it is no longer active. However I need access to confirm password resets requests that have been sent to that email address. How can I get this email to become available again?

Heads up that TalkTalk Mail addresses not added to an active TalkTalk Consumer customer MyAccount are limited to Internet browser webmail access and flagged for deletion if no action is taken.


If no sign in is detected in 180 days the mailbox is flagged for deletion for non-use. Deleted email addresses and their mailboxes are not recoverable or recreatable.  In this case you'd need to use any alternative recovery method for your external linked account(s).

Are you a TalkTalk Consumer home broadband or MailPlus, mail only, subscriber customer and if so is the TalkTalk Mail email address added to your customer MyAccount?  Let us know if you're a full-fibre home broadband TalkTalk Consumer customer. Manage TalkTalk Mail options are not yet included in the full-fibre MyAccount management.

Select here: Sign in to TalkTalk Mail

Enter your email address and password, select Sign in.

If you know the current email password you'll get signed in. 


So, if you cannot sign in to webmail we need to check if the email address is still active. Send the email address a mail message and see if you get an immediate bounceback error message saying 'Undeliverable' that means the mailbox isn't active.


Then  enter the email address at Verifalia, an external website that verifies if an email address exists. Enter the email address, complete the reCAPTCHA and select the Validate button. Does the top line response say 'Deliverable' or something else?


Finally, use the Reset password now button in the Help page  Changing your email password to see if you get a deleted or no domain error message or if you actually do have password recovery options saved.


Let us know the outcome in each case including error messages and we'll guide you from there.

Please log in to My Account if you need to view or pay your bill, manage boosts and track your usage. From My Account you can also check your connection and test your line for any issues in the Service Centre.
