I have just lost all my emails back to April this year. I received and replied to email this morning but checked in again later on my i phone and they had disappeared! Not in any other folders. I have received emails OK since then. I phoned the Talk Talk helpline but they have no idea what happened. Most are not important but I've a few online receipts etc I would like to get back. Any ideas?

Hi Lochiel2, you don't have any mail clients using POP3 do you? I can raise a fault ticket for missing mail, but if you have or are using POP3 and a device has picked it up they'll just bounce the ticket back to us.
If you need me to raise a ticket be sure to add your landline, mobile and the affected email address to private notes in your community profile.

I have sent myself an email which arrived OK. I have also received several emails since then and they have been sent to Trash. I just don't know what could have happened to all the rest?

To link this topic to your TalkTalk Mail service, in preparation for direct help from TalkTalk support, please check your Community Profile includes in Personal Information (Click here):
Your name, current TalkTalk landline 'phone and alternate number (mobile preferred). Add your full address with postcode (location). Then scroll down to Private notes to add email address(es), notes and references etc and then save changes.
Check Spam and Trash folders for mail messages that may have been moved from the Inbox. If mail is deleted then it gets moved to the Trash folder.
What happens when you compose and send the same mailbox a mail message. Check that the message sends without error, is copied into the Sent objects folder and arrives and stays in the Inbox.
Let us know of any error message, or if mail does not arrive in the Inbox or disappears from the Inbox.
