i have 2 email addresses with talktalk which i access via Microsoft outlook.
i am able to send and receive via my tiscali.co.uk email address but i get a popup box asking for my username and password for my worldonline email address.
When this has happened in the past i have been able to access my mail by web mail but i am unable to do this now as i keep getting a message that the password for this email address is incorrect.
i have been having this problem for 3 days now.

Hi whiteknight3, when did you last reset the password for the worldonline mailbox? Is it also associated with a current TalkTalk Broadband or Mail Plus account?

Thank you for your help, i did as you said and reset my password and everything is working fine now.
I don't understand what caused the problem in the first place as i know the password that wouldn't be accepted was the correct one as i have used it for many years.

The Forgotten password button in the help article Changing your email password
will take you to password reset and recovery. If the email address is still active on the TalkTalk Mail platform and you have set up password recovery options, that you recognise from the hints are your current recovery methods, you can send your alternate email address a link or your mobile a 6-digit code to authorise a password reset.
Let me know what happens and if you see an error message or what options there are for password recovery.
