I have left Talktalk but find my tiscali account which I have had for ever seems to be still under the control of Talktalk and is being blocked! Why? I had no trouble moving my tiscali address to Talktalk so why hasnt it come with me to my new supplier?

Tiscali mailboxes are managed by TalkTalk and exist on the TalkTalk Mail platform. You cannot 'move' that mailbox to a new broadband provider but you do have the opportunity to keep using it via the TalkTalk Mail platform by subscribing to TalkTalk Mail Plus.
If you're not a TalkTalk Consumer (home broadband) customer your mailbox may be restricted to webmail only access unless you subscribe to TalkTalk Mail Plus.
If you have a mail message from TalkTalk about deletion of your TalkTalk managed mailbox then deletion is after 180 days. After 60 days the mailbox has webmail only access.
Please check the sign in to TalkTalk Mail. Tell us if there's an error message or if you can sign in ok.
