I'm not thinking of moving house at all myself, but came across this description of the home moving process with Talktalk on a third party website:
Am I right in thinking that it is inaccurate in many respects? Mention of it being free .... this is something that appears to have changed recently.
Mention of £25 being waived.....what's that actually about?
Mention of Value Line Rental being an option.....I thought it no longer existed, certainly for new customers?
If the information in that link, dated for 2020, is as inaccurate and confusing as I think it is, could Talktalk ask that website to remove the misleading information and post something more accurate?
I wrote to the website concerned. They didn't post my comments but have updated their narrative! Still confusing advice re Value Line Rental on there, as this is no longer a choice for most customers!
Poor standards of journalism!
