Broadband drops to low speed requiring reset

Hi there,

 

For weeks now I've been experiencing regular drops in broadband speed that results in unstreamable video.

 

At first I thought this was wifi related so I setup a power line connection between the router and my TV but this has not improved things.

 

My router is I think out dated: Huawei HG633 (hardware version: H.1.01)

 

Can you help please?

I'm sorry to hear this.

 

I've completed a line test which hasn't detected any faults but I can see re connections on the line. How often do you reboot the router?

 

Does the speed increase once you have re booted the router?
