I had trouble getting BT premium whole home wifi discs (ax3700) to work with my old HG633 router.
Talk Talk supplied a new wifi hub, which I hoped would work out of the box as most other people who had trouble with the BT discs and the HG633 appeared to have the issue resolved with the new hub.
The BT discs still do not work.
I plug them in and they cannot connect to the router.
BT have asked me to change the IP address, from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.254
Having searched the forum I found lots of older questions with answers saying this could not be done...........
Is this still the case?
If not, how do I do it?
I went to
Talktalk wifi hub
and try to change the ip address in the lan/dhcp box and it just tells me it is an invalid ip address.
Anybody any ideas on how I might connect these discs to the hub?
I have CCTV, Genuis heating and a NAS all connected and working fine.
The issue with the IP address change within the Hub has been raised and will be implemented in the next firmware update in the next couple of months.
I have no idea about the BT disks as I've no experience of these. There may be other community customers that can offer further advice.
